Celerina & Friends sells rugs from many different
weavers in Teotitlan del Valle. These weavers are chosen
for their insistence on quality, their unique designs,
and in some cases, their commitment to using only natural
dyes.
Some of these weavers work on their own, such as
Eligio Bazan , and Celerina Martinez. Others belong
to a cooperative of weavers that work with only natural
dyes. Members of the cooperative include Fausto Contreras,
Carmen Perez, Gervasio Sosa,, Juan Carlos Contreras,
Mariano Sosa, and Rafaela Mendoza.
